Public Speaking For Fun and Money Cliff Yates Books Reviews
Cliff has written another great book. It is easy to read and provides great tips for those of us who've had to deal with the fear of speaking in public as well as those who want to earn money speaking. He gives great advice in an easy to digest format. I recommend this book.
A short, excellent read that clearly explains the ptocess of building confieence, learning to speak well, and buikding a career on your speaking skills. Yates knows himself, his subject, and his audience well.
Has valuable advice, but it touches lightly on the actual strategies and techniques of speaking to a crowd effectively, and more heavily on the business/administrative aspect of it, as in all that goes on off-stage.
Something that really urked me about this book is that it is massively littered with spelling and gramatical errors. My god, it’s only a 40 page book. Was it too much to proof read it once?
Finally - a book that isn't hundreds of pages long on public speaking and just gets to the crux of what is needed to be a great public speaker. Cliff pulls the reader in by sharing his own story and then shares all his little secrets in maneuvering through the public speaking world and creating your own speech. It is a must read for ANY entertainer/public speaker. It doesn't matter how long you've been doing it. Thank you Cliff!
Cliff Yates is an experienced public speaker with substance and grit . Many people out there talk alot and say nothing , this is not the case with Mr Yates . Yates is an experienced public speaker either as a law enforcement officer or as a nationally known headlining comedian . The tricks of the trade are well explained and detailed in this book . Do yourself a favor and read this book , apply the knowledge that you will receive from this book and see how quickly your success to public speaking will develop. This is a great book to read through and keep on hand for reference. Lots of little gems in here for anyone who may have to speak in public, even if only on occasion. Great job, Cliff!
